David Joyner - Faith Leader and Community Servant in North Carolina

David Joyner has built a life of service through ministry, leadership, and community engagement across North Carolina. With decades of experience guiding congregations, mentoring pastors, and supporting church communities, he is committed to spiritual leadership and community service. Based in North Carolina, David Joyner continues to play a key role in strengthening churches, supporting clergy, and providing guidance to faith communities throughout the region.

David Joyner serves as senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where he provides both spiritual leadership and administrative oversight for a congregation of more than 1,300 members. In this role, he manages a diverse staff that includes teams responsible for preschool education, worship, administration, and family ministry.

Outside of his professional and ministry work, Mr. Joyner enjoys traveling with his family, particularly through cruises that have taken him to destinations across four continents. He also enjoys visiting the mountains of western North Carolina, especially the Blue Ridge Parkway near Boone and Blowing Rock.
